Oldies but goodies....

A few random pics I have taken over the years, just to start this off.

This is one of my most favorite pics.  It is the gravestone of Dee Dee Ramone in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.  Some people think my fascination with photographing cemeteries is morbid, but I think you can get beautiful shots there.  This one was originally in color but I love sepia and B/W so I play around with colors in my photos quite a bit.

This is my niece in Monterey.  I am a huge fan of candid photos, I love taking a picture when the subject is not aware of the camera.  I also have an odd habit of taking photos of subjects from behind as you will see frequently in my work.

This one is two of my little cousins.  They just happened to plop down on the steps beside each other and I started shooting.  The result came out super cute I think.

And so it begins....

This is my view of life through a camera lens.  I don't claim to be a photographer, just someone who loves to take random photos.  My cameras go with me everywhere.  I decided to start this blog as a sort of photo journal to share my pictures, to get feedback and hopefully to better myself in an art that I truly love. Not sure how much or how often I will be posting, but I'm going to make an honest effort to keep it up as much as possible.  Since I take photos daily, that shouldn't be too hard, but I do tend to get lazy.
